The purpose of creating corporate responsibility guidelines is to inform all stakeholders of the ethical norms that the company considers to be of paramount importance during its operations. The Code of Ethics of FHL Björn Hungary Zrt. defines the expected ethical behavior and standards of action consistent with the company’s values, and further encourages stakeholders to preserve and strengthen the valuable external image of the company.
Everyone shall observe the fundamental rules of courtesy in human interaction. Employees of FHL Björn Hungary Zrt. shall not engage in any conduct, whether at the workplace or outside of it, that could damage the company’s reputation.
Compliance with the values and associated rules set out in the guidelines applies to all employees, contracted staff, and business partners of FHL Björn Hungary Zrt. Within the company, managers who direct the work of others have a primary responsibility for establishing and maintaining a culture of ethical operation.

Stakeholders (employees, business partners, suppliers) may not offer, pay, solicit, or accept bribes in the course of their work or business conduct for the purpose of obtaining or retaining business.
Equal Opportunity (Prohibition of Discrimination)
At the company, no one shall enjoy an advantage or suffer a disadvantage based on gender, age, origin, race, nationality, religion, political or family affiliation, physical disability, sexual orientation, membership in interest groups, or related activities. Exceptions are made for positive discrimination regulated by law.
The company strictly prohibits all forms of violence, intimidation, or harassment. Any form of this, such as racial or sexual, is completely unacceptable, and it is the responsibility of management to handle any occurring cases appropriately.
It is the employee’s duty to take action against any form of violent manifestation that violates the above and to report the incident to their immediate supervisor or the competent director.
FHL Björn Hungary Zrt. condemns child labor and other forms of exploitation of children and minorities; it does not employ forced, slave, or child labor, and does not accept such activities from any of its partners. All employees and contractual partners of the company must be aware of these principles and apply them in their work.
The company provides safe and healthy working conditions for its employees. It regularly monitors working conditions in its facilities and takes corrective measures if necessary. In its operations, it takes into account all technological and ecological guidelines relevant to its activities and supports the adoption of standards that set stricter requirements.
By complying with health, environmental, and occupational safety regulations, technological discipline, and other rules applicable to their work, every employee must strive to prevent health damage and avoid environmental harm and pollution.
FHL Björn Hungary Zrt. complies with all laws, regulations, and industry standards regarding working hours, including overtime. It provides wages to its employees that meet at least the minimum required and are sufficient to cover basic human needs in the given community.
Referring to the provisions of Article VII (2) of the Fundamental Law of Hungary, stating: "Everyone has the right to establish and join organizations," FHL Björn Hungary Zrt. does not restrict the employees’ freedom of association and right to collective bargaining. Employees may establish and operate representative bodies to more effectively assert their interests. Our employees are free to join or stay away from any trade union of their choice.
The company’s employees respect each other’s worldview and political convictions and shall not influence each other’s views by any means during working hours.
Employees are obliged to avoid any reference to the company during such activities and expressly refrain from presenting their opinions as the company’s position. During such activities, they may not use the company’s tools and services (e.g., mobile phone, laptop, vehicle, internet connection, etc.) even if they are otherwise entitled to use them for private purposes.
Environmental protection is an important element of the business philosophy of FHL Björn Hungary Zrt. It takes into account the aspects of natural environmental harmony in its decisions. The company avoids wasting resources and handles resulting by-products in accordance with the law. The company ensures effective internal control to avoid misuse of corporate capital and assets. Any document that undertakes an obligation toward a third party on behalf of the company may only be authorized by the Managing Director’s signature. Honest, correct behavior with customers, suppliers, authorities, and professional organizations, as well as mutual trust and respect, is the basis of a successful and lasting business relationship. The company only establishes and maintains relationships with partners who operate according to the rules of business integrity.
• Acceptance of Gifts and Benefits
An employee of FHL Björn Hungary Zrt. may not accept personal gifts or any benefit from other organizations or persons with an interest in the company. In case of doubt, the value limit for acceptable business gifts is HUF 10,000. It is forbidden to accept any gift or favor above this limit.
It is forbidden to accept travel, holiday, and accommodation offers from business partners or external suppliers.

FHL Björn Hungary Zrt. expects its suppliers to comply with the regulations and guidelines handed over to them. Suppliers who violate these principles may not be involved in bidding procedures.
